Some of you have asked what is going on with my roundups.
If you read this blog regularly, you probably know that I have had a very busy and successful year. In April, my latest book won a small business book award in the social media category. Then, last week, I was featured in The Costo Connection magazine (Canadian edition).
A few days later, I also learnt that Social Media Slant had made it into Fit Small Business’ Best Small Business Blogs of 2015 list. This list features prominent names and blogs, including James Altucher, Richard Branson, Amy Porterfield, Mike Allton, Derek Halpern, John Jantsch, and Harvard Business Review. I still can’t believe it!
However, those are not the only things worth celebrating. A few weeks ago, I released my first photography book, which was a dream of mine for a long time. More books are on the horizon in this area, though. Photography has been a passion for several years!
Speaking of which, here is another announcement: A new social media ebook for my Little Big eBook series is in the works! Yes, you read it right. I’ll share more details in a future post. :-)
Last but not least, client work has been on the increase in several areas: teaching, translation, and writing.
Unfortunately, such a schedule requires cutting corners. From now on, my Social Media in Number roundups will be published quarterly. My roundup of tools has to go, though.
With that said, I created a page dedicated to tools and services for small businesses. All my overviews for the last two years are there. But you can expect regular updates as I come across more tools of interest for you. I will just not cover them on the blog anymore.
So, make sure you visit the page often! I’ll also keep you in the loop on social networks.
That’s all folks! :-)
