Muckrack

Interested in finding out the reach of your content? Muck Rack’s “Who Shared My Link” is what you need.

First, drag and drop the Open in Muck Rack bookmarklet in your browser. Then, whenever you visit a page, click the button. A new tab will open, revealing the exact number of times that page has been shared, with a breakdown by major social network (Facebook, Twitter, Google+, and LinkedIn).

The tool also tells you if any member of the Muck Rack database of journalists has promoted it. And should you have an account with the site, you will be able to add the story to your portfolio or a media list.

To start using Who Shared My Link, visit http://muckrack.com/bookmarklet.

    Hey Cendrine,

I have recently discovered another tool (paid…called Social Metrics Pro).for keeping track of all shares that occur within my own blog.

I haven’t bought it yet (Kind of glad I didn’t rush into buying it). This tool may be able to do the job, I just need to check it (I may buy Social metrics pro, because the plugin organizes all the data in WP Dashboard).

Anyways, thank you for sharing the tool, Cendrine :)
