“I have signed up for social media accounts. Now, what do I do?”
I hear this question all the time. The answer is and always will be: strategy.
A business without a strategy will have a very hard time on social media. Not only do you have to know who needs your help. You also must understand how, why, and where they need it. Nothing new, of course. That’s something social media practitioners keep repeating.
With that said, how does one get started? With small, attainable goals. The checklist below (courtesy of The Whole Brain Group) should help.
NB: I disagree that a post should always end with a “call to action that links to a landing page for a relevant content offer.” Sometimes, it’s better to ask questions and encourage dialogue. There is a time and a place for everything.
