Quixey is a search engine that finds apps for you based on the tasks or goals you want to accomplish.
Let’s imagine, for example, that you are looking for an app to stream music online or sync your files. Enter the query in the search box and Quixey will go through millions of pieces of data (blogs, reviews, articles, Tweets…) to surface the best suggestions for your needs. You can filter results by mobile device (Android, Windows Phone, iPhone, iPad, and BlackBerry) and/or prices.
Want more information about an app? Click its name to bring a dedicated page featuring screenshots, a detailed description, and a list of similar apps that might be of interest to you.
The website also has a “Sample” area with pre-made queries for inspiration.
