Smore
Do you have a project or event you would like to promote online? Try Smore!
Smore allows you to easily create interactive and mobile-friendly webpages and flyers. You can embed all sorts of media (e.g., videos, photos, audio, forms, and buttons) and customize the design, colors, and fonts. Once created, your pages can be shared via email and to social networks.
The service includes analytics as well. You can see visitor data like referral traffic, time spent on page, interactions, and reached goals.
The short video below will show you how Smore works:

Smore is free for up to five flyers / pages. But you cannot add custom backgrounds. For more options, prices start at $19 / month.
GIFMaker.me
Earlier this year, I blogged about LICEcap, a free app for Windows and OSX that allows you to capture an area of your desktop and save it directly in the .GIF or .LCF format. If you liked it, this one should also get your attention.
GIFMaker.me turns your photos into GIFs in minutes. To use it, visit http://gifmaker.me/, then:
- Upload your shots
- Select the size and animation speed of your GIF
- Enter the URL for audio if you plan on uploading the GIF on YouTube
- Drag the images to change the order
When you are done, click “Create Now”. You will then be able to save your GIF to your computer.
Scoopinion
Looking for an alternative to Swayy? Scoopinion could be a valuable option.
This browser extension analyzes your reading habits to recommend content from sites you might not know. You can hide stories, authors, and sources to get even more tailored results over time.
Other features include a biweekly email digest and a visual summary of your media fingerprint (e.g., reading time, favorite online publications, and number of read stories).
Primal
One of my favorite tools these days is Primal. It surfaces the most interesting content based on your topics and sources of choice, and delivers it to your browser, Inbox, and more.
“Primal takes a collection of keywords representing topics of interest. Additionally, you can specify a source of content, like news, social media, or RSS feeds. Primal will return an interest graph as structured data, in the format of your choosing (JSON or RSS). Your content will be filtered, ranked, and scored against the interests you specify.”
Interested in displaying relevant related content next to your blog posts? Try Primal for WordPress.
Content Idea Generator
Every blogger experiences writer’s block. It’s hard to find inspiration all the time. That’s why we need tools like Content Idea Generator.
Content Idea Generator is simple to use. Sign up for an account, answer 18 questions about your products and services, and the website will show you hundreds of suggestions.
Now, it’s your turn to speak! Do you know a tool or service that you think would fit in my next monthly roundup? Feel free to leave a link in the comment section below or contact me directly. I will have a look for potential inclusion.
